MWC 2025: Tecno Camon 40 Series Unveiled with 50MP Camera and MediaTek Chipsets

Tecno showcased its Tecno Camon 40 series at MWC 2025 with several enhanced features. However, the company has not revealed any major details about the smartphone. The series include Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G. All the smartphones will feature AMOLED displays and Dolby Atmos audio.

All the smartphones in the series including Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphones feature One-Tap Button. Additionally, ther are equipped with Tecno AI that includes several AI features like AI Image Generation, AI Call Assistant, AI Writing, and the native Ella AI assistant. These devices will support Google’s Circle to Search feature.

Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G, Camon 40 Pro and Camon 40 Pro 5G devices will have Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and IP68 and IP69 dust and water ratings. However, the Tecno Camon 40 will have IP66 rating. To power the smartphones, the company has given 5,100mAh battery capacity and 70W wired fast charging support. Talking about the camera features, they will be equipped with 50MP primary camera in which Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G will feature 50MP Sony LYT-701, 50MP ultrawide angle, 50MP periscope telephoto camera. For clicking selfies, it will have 50MP front camera.

Other than smartphones, Tecno also unveiled AI Glasses and AI Glasses Pro with built-in AI assistant.
