Schedule of the Lok Sabha Election 2024
The first phase of the Lok Sabha elections began on April 19 covering more than 20 regions, including both states and union territories. Phase 2 began on April 26, followed by Phase 3 on May 7 and Phase 4 on May 13. Phase 5 began on May 20 covering the financial capital Mumbai. Phase 6 started on May 25 covering NCT of Delhi among other regions.
Today is Phase 7 and the last phase of the Lok Sabha election, which covers 57 constituencies across the seven states and 1 union territories mentioned above.
Once the exit poll predictions are live in the evening, citizens can wait for the final and official Lok Sabha election results. The election results will be announced on June 4 and you can know the results from the source mentioned above.
Depending on the results, whichever party comes to power will begin planning for the further process, including the oath ceremony for the Prime Minister. The latter is expected to happen later this month, however, no exact details have been confirmed.
