Apple is already preparing its next big rollout of AI features, even though iOS 26 has only recently reached users. A new report suggests that iOS 27 will arrive with “major updates” to Apple Intelligence, marking one of the most significant pushes yet toward integrating advanced AI across Apple’s ecosystem. The information comes via Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who notes that Apple plans to unveil iOS 27 alongside macOS 27, watchOS 27, and other platform updates at WWDC in June 2026. Big Apple Intelligence Update Expected in 2026

According to Gurman, Apple Intelligence will receive a substantial upgrade with iOS 27. At this stage, there are not many specifics on what’s coming, but the mention of “major updates” suggests the company is planning a deeper expansion of Apple Intelligence across the system. Apple is expected to further enhance Siri and introduce more generative features that function both on-device and in the cloud, continuing the hybrid approach introduced this year. iOS 26.4 to Bring Supercharged Siri

All of this will be powered by Apple Intelligence.

Gurman notes that Apple aims to deliver the three headline Siri features promised earlier, along with additional new capabilities. Early adopters and testers can expect to see these features land first in beta versions, ahead of wider rollout later in the year.
