With the rumors of the upcoming iPhone 17 series, one thing that might bring the biggest upgrade of all time in iPhone history will be the iOS 19. iOS 19 is expected to bring some of the most significant updates yet, promising to make the operating system more intelligent. The upcoming version reportedly aims to elevate the overall user experience. As Apple continues to push the boundaries of innovation and technology, it might be possible that the tech giant will make our iPhone experience more efficient and intuitive with iOS 19.

Here’s What We Know So Far About the iOS 19:

As per Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is reportedly bringing some of the biggest updates with the upcoming iOS 19. He says it will be ‘biggest iOS and macOS redesigns in its history.’ In his latest Power on Newsletter, he states that the iOS 19 will bring the visionOS-inspired design that will be the “well beyond a fresh coat of paint”.

He says, “The new interfaces will adopt the design principles introduced in visionOS, the software for Apple’s Vision Pro headset. That includes greater transparency and new types of windows and buttons — and that should make all Apple devices feel more consistent and familiar.”

The newsletter from Mark Gurman mentions that Apple executives are confident that users will love the new interface of iOS 19. Additionally, he mentions that it will be “simpler to use, faster to navigate, and easier to learn.”

As per Jon Prosser the iOS 19 will bring the Redesigned Camera App Inspired by visionOS . He posted this on his youtube channel, mentioning that redesigned camera app in iOS 19 will have translucent menus for controlling camera. In addition, the images of the menus mentioned in his video resembles with visionOS interface on the Apple Vision Pro headset.

The camera controls coming with the iOS 19 will be divided into photo and video categories along with options for recording spatial video, timer for photo, and several more. Apple is expected to showcase its iOS 19 at Apple’s Worldwide developer conference (WWDC) in June 2025. However, the official roll out will happen in September with the launch of the iPhone 17 series.
