Apple has temporarily disabled the AI notification summaries for news and entertainment apps with iOS 18.3. The company will notify users once it becomes available again. The update has been made to address the previous inaccuracies spotted by BBC when the feature inaccurately summarized one of their headlines.

Apple Intelligence:

With the iOS 18.3, the company has switched on the Apple Intelligence by default and will switch on AI-powered features automatically for new users. The update will be eligible for the devices that support Apple Intelligence. If you want to disable the Apple Intelligence, you have to head straight to the Apple Intelligence & Siri Settings and turn off the feature. The features that will automatically be on with Apple Intelligence are Image Playground, AI Notification Summaries, and tools that can rewrite the text running on your device.

Bug Fixes:

Apple has certainly fixed some of the bugs including CVE-2025-24107. This could see a malicious app that can gain root privileges. Then the tech giant fixed problems with the Calculator app and Keyboard. Additionally, the company also fixed Apple music audio playback.
