Apple finally released its long-awaited iOS 18.3 update for iPhone users with several enhancements, AI features, Siri upgrades, and more. As per Apple, the update brings improvements to visual intelligence, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone. The tech giant fixed a heavy list of vulnerabilities with the iOS 18.3 update. However, the company has not given much update regarding which bug has been fixed. The reason for not revealing the names of the bug fixes is that Apple wants to provide as much time to its iPhone users to update before the attackers can get hold of the details.
To get the latest update for your iPhone, you have to go to the Settings in your iPhone. Then search for the General option, Now go to the Software Update. Here you will see the Update iOS on iPhone notification. Click on it.
Apple has brought changes to the AI Notifications Summaries which was first spotted in the iOS 18.3 Beta. Apple has temporarily disabled the AI notification summaries for news and entertainment apps with iOS 18.3. The company will notify users once it becomes available again. The update has been made to address the previous inaccuracies spotted by BBC when the feature inaccurately summarized one of their headlines.
With the iOS 18.3, the company has switched on the Apple Intelligence by default and will switch on AI-powered features automatically for new users. The update will be eligible for the devices that support Apple Intelligence. If you want to disable the Apple Intelligence, you have to head straight to the Apple Intelligence & Siri Settings and turn off the feature. The features that will automatically be on with Apple Intelligence are Image Playground, AI Notification Summaries, and tools that can rewrite the text running on your device.
Apple has certainly fixed some of the bugs including CVE-2025-24107. This could see a malicious app that can gain root privileges. Then the tech giant fixed problems with the Calculator app and Keyboard. Additionally, the company also fixed Apple music audio playback.
