
GoPro has launched two new cameras in the Indian market – GoPro Hero 13 Black and the base GoPro Hero. The GoPro Hero is available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 23,990 and the the flagship GoPro Hero 13 Black is priced at Rs 44,990. The high-end variant has four new interchangeable lens mods along with magnetic latch mounting, GPS, and a durable battery.
As for the base variant, it is being hailed as the lightest and smallest GoPro with 4K support perfect for the people who want to begin their photography journey. The Hero 13 Black will go on sale starting from September 10, 2024. On the other hand, the base variant will be available for pre-orders starting from September 16 and will be available for purchase from September 22, 2024.
Starting with the flagship offering, Hero 13 Black can record videos in 5.3K at 60 frames per second. It can capture up to 400 frames per second at HD quality 720p video along with 5.3k at 120fps, and 900p at 360 frames per second. In addition, the camera offers a 10% better battery that will extend the runtime of the camera in different weather conditions.
The WiFi 6 technology offered in the GoPro Hero 13 Black delivers a 40% better transfer speed. You can also change the voice settings of the camera to enhance the audio quality without missing out on the ambient background sounds. That’s not it, you can also track speed, path, altitude, terrain, and gravitational force with the GPS and performance stickers. It also gets four mods that can be purchased separately – Macro Lens Mod, Ultra Wide Lens Mod, ND Filter 4 Pack, and Anamorphic Lens Mod.
As for GoPro Hero, it weighs only 86 grams and includes built-in mounting fingers as well. The device is rugged and waterproof and comes with an intuitive touch screen and one-button control. Furthermore, it produces high-quality images, HD 1080p video, and 2x Slo-Mo. The most amazing part is that the camera delivers YouTube-optimized horizontal videos. And it has the ability to record up to 100 minutes at the highest video settings on a single charge.
