Google’s Circle to Seach feature is making headlines almost every week with new functionalities getting integrated into it. Now, the feature will also be able to scan QR codes and barcodes automatically which will make information gathering a lot more easier than it was. With the viewfinder of Circle to Search, any user can scan barcodes or QR codes. In a report published by Android Authority, it has been said that the feature will also show you a handy chip, that will direct you to the website associated with the code.

Circle to Search by Google will automatically scan any QR codes or barcodes visible on the screen of your smartphone. The feature will make it easy to visit a particular website without any hassle.

For example, if there is a QR code or barcode you want to scan, just make sure it is shown on the screen, and voila, Circle to Search will automatically scan it and show you a handy chip with which you can visit the website in a single tap. The feature will remove the need to circle QR codes and barcodes in the application resulting in time-saving and reaching the results with less effort.

The functionality was revealed by Google in July 2024. However, there was no confirmation regarding its launch for the stable version. Finally, Google is rolling out the functionality for multiple devices including Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. While we agree that this update is not going to make a lot of difference still it contributes to enhancing the user experience without a doubt. And the way Google is pushing updates for its AI ecosystem, we can soon get to see more features making their way to the stable version.
