Google Taps Jimmy Fallon As Official Host For Pixel 10 Launch Event

Google is all set to introduce the Pixel 10 series alongside other next-generation tech products at its Made by Google event today (August 20). A teaser video shared by Google Pixel on Instagram confirms that Jimmy Fallon is officially hosting Made by Google 2025. The event is scheduled for August 20 (today) at 1 PM Eastern Time (10:30 PM IST). The teaser shows Jimmy Fallon with the Pixel 10 and wearing the upcoming Pixel Watch 4. The Tonight Show host is also teasing some ‘secret products’ in the short video. While these products are beeped out in the teaser, fans speculate that it might be a hint at new AI-driven accessories or Google’s long-rumoured smart glasses – Project Martha. Earlier, Google Pixel had teased that Jimmy Fallon would be present at the Pixel 10 event with others, but now it seems that he will host the entire keynote.

Fallon is currently not shooting any new episodes for NBC’s The Tonight Show, so Google’s timing for the event seems apt as the talk show host’s schedule is free.

Google usually hands the baton to hardware chief Rick Osterloh, who has been hosting past Made by Google events. He is, however, also expected to make an appearance at the keynote tonight.

Fallon is expected to be joined by previously teased stars, including Stephen Curry and The Jonas Brothers, at the Pixel 10 keynote. Google seems to be targeting a wider audience this year with an experienced and popular presenter like Fallon for the mega event.

The Made by Google event today will showcase the Pixel 10 lineup, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Alongside the smartphones, Google is also expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 4 and new Pixel Buds 2a earbuds.
