Google unveiled its Pixel 9A in India with power-packed features including a 48MP camera, Tensor G4 chipset, 6.3-inch AMOLED display, and more. The company launched its new addition under its mid-range series with four color options. The tech giant ditched the old and traditional camera bump in Pixel 9 and rather brought a different camera design that doesn’t wobble while placing it on a flat surface. Google Pixel 9A caters to the needs of people who are looking for a smartphone in the upper mid-range segment.

Google Pixel 9A features an upgraded 6.3-inch Actua display along with 2700 nits peak brightness and 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. The company launched it in four color options including Porcelain, Obsidian, Peony, and Iris.  The handset runs on Android 15 with seven years of OS and security updates. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Talking about the camera features, the Google Pixel 9A is equipped with 48MP rear camera with OIS and 1/2-inch sensor and 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. For clicking selfies and video calling, it has 13MP front camera. The rear camera features closed-loop autofocus along with f/1.7 aperture.

To power the smartphone, Google has equipped it with 5,100mAh battery with 23W fast charging. Buyers will also get an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature in Pixel 9A. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. Pixel 9A also comes with sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity.

Google Pixel 9A Price in India:

Google Pixel 9A is priced at Rs 49,999 for the single 8GB + 256GB RAM variant. It will go on sale in April via company’s retail partners. The company didn’t reveal the exact date as to when Pixel 9A will go on sale in India.
