Google is gearing up to bring major refinements to its foldable lineup with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Some recent leaks suggest that this foldable could be getting a full design overhaul. The new Pixel Fold might be sleeker, tougher, and a more practical foldable device overall. Here’s everything we know so far about the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
According to a new report from AndroidHeadlines, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature a thinner hinge mechanism, making the entire device slimmer and easier to handle. This move is likely aimed at competing directly with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is also rumoured to get lighter and lighter. The design tweak could bring much-needed ergonomics to the foldable form factor.

Along with this, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold could also be the first in the lineup to sport an IP68 rating. That means it could be the most durable foldable phone yet, capable of surviving underwater with ease. Even Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 only comes with an IP48 rating, and the upcoming Fold 7 is rumoured to stick with the same. So, if this leak turns out to be true, Google might just set a new durability benchmark in the foldable race.
Talking more about leaks, the camera system is expected to remain mostly the same, with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold likely carrying forward the triple-camera setup from its predecessor. The primary will most likely be a 50MP Sony GN8 sensor, paired with a 12MP Samsung 3J1 ultra-wide lens, and another 12MP telephoto shooter. Google will probably make some slight tweaks for better light performance, as the current hardware is already really capable.
With more and more leaks about the Pixel 10 series floating around, the launch seems to be getting closer. Considering last year’s launch timeline, Google might unveil the new phones around mid-August.
