Google’s Nano Banana became a trendsetter in the world of AI and created a buzz among content creators, especially in India. Designers, creators, and artists quickly adopted it and started creating a unique style of images and visuals. Now, a new report states that the tech giant is planning to expand its Gemini AI ecosystem, and hence, launching a Nano Banana 2.
The first version of Gemini’s AI-powered image generation tool Nano Banana made waves by enabling professionals and content creators to come up with the unique style images. It became the must-have tool in Gemini’s AI ecosystem. Google is now planning to expand this ecosystem by launching Nano Banana 2. The app is internally referred to as GEMPIX2.
The Nano Banana 2 was spotted in the recent discoveries of hidden pre-release cards within the Gemini interface. It suggests that the company is all set to unveil the second-generation AI imagery model called Nano Banana 2.
Google’s main focus behind bringing AI-powered Nano Banana is to bring a creative application that can fulfill designers’ needs to digital artists experimenting with new styles. While the first version created a frenzy among creators and impressed the community with its speed and unique aesthetic, the Nano Banana 2 is expected to deliver high-quality images along with consistency in results, and can provide more artistic options to creators.
The appearance of GEMPIX2 cards in the Gemini interface and internal configurations suggests that Google is likely preparing to formally launch its next AI-powered app. Although the tech giant has not confirmed anything officially, leaks and rumors point toward several improvements in the upcoming app.
