Google I/O is one of such tech events that’s awaited all year by tech enthusiasts, developers, and industry leaders. The event is known for unveiling groundbreaking innovations and software developments & and advancements. The events from the past few years have started focusing on the future of AI. In addition, it will also set the tone for what’s next in the Google ecosystem. The highly-anticipated annual year event, Google I/O is set for today on 20th May and will last till 21 May 2025, wherein the tech giant will focus of several keynotes, sessions, technical content, and learning material on demand. You can watch the event online via Google’s official YouTube channel at 10AM PT.
The event will also happen in a physical gathering at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
You can register online in order to directly receive the keynotes in your Inbox. You can also head straight to the Google Developers Blog for the latest information regarding sessions, speakers, and activities. In addition, you can also build a profile in the Google Developer Program to receive everything related to the event.
Even if you are unregistered, you will still receive the keynotes and sessions. Nevertheless, you won’t be able to receive communications related to the event.

Google might be talking about its upcoming Android 16 which is expected to bring redesigned volume controls and more refined user interface. There could be several updates that would make the accessibility tools easy to access. As per reports, Android 16 is expected to introduce Advanced Protection Mode, a new security feature that will offer an added layer of protection and security for users.
The tech giant is also expected to enhance its Health Connect platform by bringing a Health Connect 2.0. It will be equipped with the security feature of consent which means it will collect data once the user has given his or her permission or consent.
We could also expect a new and enhanced version of the Gemini Ultra model that is company’s premium offering in the Gemini lineup. Google Astra is also highly anticipated in the Google I/O event.
