Nothing is gearing up to unveil a new era of smart devices next year, with plans to launch its first AI-native gadgets. As per a tech giant, Nothing has a recent funding round of $200 million, making the company stand at the value of $1.3 billion. The founder and CEO, Carl Pei, aims to create a technological ecosystem that blends artificial intelligence directly into everyday hardware.
Nothing’s AI-native devices will be powered by the intelligent platform that will be designed to learn and adapt based on user habits. These devices will not work like conventional electronics that rely on standard operating systems. While the major details, such as whether this AI system will be built on Android or a completely new architecture, are still unclear, the goal of Nothing is to offer devices that feel hyper-personalized.
The tech giant is planning to embed this AI across all its products, including smartphones, headphones, smartwatches, smart glasses, electric vehicles, and even a humanoid robot. The company aims to create a platform that can evolve alongside emerging technology.
Today, @nothing raised $200M Series C at a $1.3B valuation.
This marks the start of our next chapter: From building the only new smartphone company of the last decade, to creating an AI-native platform where hardware & software converge.

The artificial intelligence space is becoming competitive with growing technological advancements. Products that heavily rely on AI have historically struggled to attract mainstream users, and even brands like Apple are also struggling to keep up the pace.
Designers like Jony Ive are reportedly developing experimental AI gadgets in collaboration with OpenAI, creating a race for attention in the next generation of smart devices. Nothing will need to prove that its approach can deliver practical value while standing out from rivals.
With its upcoming AI-driven products, Nothing is positioning itself at the intersection of hardware innovation and intelligent software. The next year will be crucial for companies when AI will not just be a supporting feature, rather a full-fledged core of consumer tech. Whatever the case may be, Nothing is promising to come up with an ecosystem that learns and grows alongside its users.
