Call of Duty Modern Warfare III, Warzone brings better weapons, more to the game: Check details

Call of Duty update: Call of Duty fans some something to rejoice now. Activision has rolled out major updates to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare III or MW 3 and the Call of Duty Warzone. These updates, besides bringing a host of bug fixes, brings a host of new weapons updates and attachments to both the games. As these updates start becoming available to the players, here’s a detailed breakdown of what players should expect as they play the game in the coming days:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III updates

As a part of the changes to the user interface, Activision has made Maps widget scrollable through all enteries and updated MORS Sniper Rifle to the correct icon in the kill feed. Additionally, it has addressed issues pertaining to score displayed during round transition in Gunfight, Search and Destroy, and scoreboard not getting tracked due to Caster mode.

Apart from this, the company has also made major upgrades to the weapons such as assault rifles, submachine guns and other equipment. For instance, MTZ 556 assault rifle has been upgraded to increase the bullet velocity to 690 m/s, while M16 assault rifle has got decreased horizontal, vertical and visual recoil, and decreased gun kick. Similarly the striker submachine gun has got decreased aim shot sight time and increased bullet velocity. Additionally, the company has increased the explosive damage of EMD Grenade to 150.

Activision has also announced that it will conduct a limited time weapon evaluation between April 16 and April 23. The list of weapons included in this evaluation are — BP50, Holger 556 and MTZ 556 assault rifles, RAM-9, HRM-9 and SMGs.

Call of Duty: Warzone updates

CoD Warzone too has got major Weapons upgrades. Most of these upgrades are similar to CoD: Modern Warfare III users have got. In addition to weapon updates, the company has decreased the intermediate explosive damage radius of Frag Grenade from 4.9m to 3.8 meters and added ECS Requieter Suppressor Muzzle compatibility to all MWII Submachine Guns.
