The company has just changed the naming scheme for its operating systems, including iOS, macOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS, coinciding with the year of their releases. Apple is also readily working on bringing the iPhone 17 series to the market. The lineup will include the standard iPhone 17, the slimmer iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The devices will debut next month, following Apple’s tradition of unveiling next-generation iPhones in September. Also Read: 5 Best iPhone 17 Alternatives To Consider If You Didn't Like It
Meanwhile, Apple is expected to bring major upgrades to the iPhone lineup with the iPhone 17 Pro. The device will see a major design change after many years. The Pro models have all looked the same since the iPhone 11 Pro, with the same camera layout in a square island on the top-left of the back panel. The iPhone 17 Pro will feature an elongated rectangular bar at the rear, housing the triple cameras along with the LED flash and a LiDAR sensor.
