Apple is all set to make another wave of excitement among tech enthusiasts with its laptop lineup, with the impending launch of the upcoming M5 MacBook Pro. The tech giant has been dropping subtle hints for the past few months, and the latest teaser from Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, suggests that the M5-powered MacBook is soon going to be unveiled globally.

Apple M5-Powered MacBook Pro

Apple’s Senior Vice President Greg Joswiak shared a short video teaser on X (formerly Twitter), unveiling a slight design showcase of the company’s next product, the MacBook Pro. The laptop appears to be in V shape in the teaser, which may indicate toward to the M5 chipset, with V representing the Roman numeral five.

Greg posted the teaser with a caption, ‘Mmmmm….something powerful is coming,’ subtly hinting at the new M5 SoC. Fans speculate that the five M’s symbolize the fifth-generation chipset.

Other than this, another interesting thing that we notice in the teaser is the color of the teased product. The MacBook Pro in the teaser is displayed in a light blue color, suggesting that Apple might bring a new color variant, leaving out its traditional silver, grey, and black color options.

MacBook Pro Expected Specifications

Apple might focus on performance improvement, along with a design overhaul, this time with its upcoming MacBook Pro. Under the hood, the laptop is said to feature Apple’s upcoming M5 chipset, promising 12% faster multi-core CPU performance. Additionally, it might deliver the 36% improved GPU performance too, as compared to the M4 chipset.

Rumors also suggest that the upcoming M5-powered MacBook Pro could be unveiled in the 14-inch variant with a 10-core CPU. The more powerful configurations could include the M5 Pro and M5 Max, that’s expected to be unveiled in early 2026.

MacBook Pro Launch Date and Availability

While Apple has not officially confirmed or revealed the launch date, the teaser hints that the M5 MacBook Pro could be announced later this week. As per Mark Gurman, Bloomberg’s journalist, the upcoming device could launch soon, and the higher variant could launch in 2026.
