Apple is gearing up for its much-anticipated September 9 event, often dubbed the most important showcase of the year. Scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, the event promises a wave of exciting product announcements. From the next-generation iPhones to upgraded Apple Watches and the AirPods Pro 3, Apple is preparing to redefine the ecosystem once again.

With rumors heating up, here’s a look at what could make the stage at this year’s “Awe Dropping” event.

iPhone 17 Air

The biggest highlight is expected to be the iPhone 17 Air which is rumored to be just 5.5mm thick. Despite its ultra-thin profile, the phone is said to pack a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with ProMotion technology and a new 24MP front camera. On the back, Apple could include a pill-shaped camera bump housing a 48MP sensor.

The iPhone 17 Air is also tipped to feature a hybrid titanium-aluminum frame weighing just 145 grams, the A19 chipset, vapor chamber cooling, and support for MagSafe. The tech giant could equip the upcoming iPhone 17 Air with a smaller 2,800mAh battery.

iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max

The iPhone 17 Pro lineup is also expected to see design tweaks. Apple may swap the titanium frame for aluminum, combined with a half-glass back for better durability and heat management. A redesigned horizontal camera bar will span most of the device, housing upgraded 48MP lenses including a telephoto camera that could support up to 8x optical zoom.

Powered by the A19 Pro chip, the Pro models will also come with 12GB RAM, a more scratch-resistant display coating, and potentially Apple’s largest iPhone battery yet. Faster 25W Qi 2.2 wireless charging and dual video recording support could make this generation stand out.

iPhone 17

The iPhone 17 is rumored to come with a larger 6.3-inch display. Featuring the A19 chip, slim bezels, and ProMotion support, it will remain the most accessible entry point in the iPhone lineup. Camera upgrades may be minimal, though the front shooter is expected to jump to 24MP.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11

Apple’s smartwatch lineup is also in for an upgrade. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 could be the first Apple Watch with satellite connectivity, enabling Emergency SOS even without Wi-Fi or cellular. It is also rumored to bring a brighter LTPO3 display, faster charging, and possibly blood pressure trend monitoring. The Series 11 will carry similar features, while the Watch SE may adopt a refreshed design inspired by the Series 7.

AirPods Pro 3

The AirPods Pro 3 may debut with a redesigned case, improved Active Noise Cancellation, and a new chip for better audio. Apple is also working on health-focused features like in-ear heart rate tracking and even real-time language translation.
