However, there’s no official update and details are still limited but speculations suggest that these new displays could offer improved features. As per Analyst Ross Young, we could expect design changes and possible better performance with the upcoming Studio Display. As Apple continues to innovate, these potential Studio Displays could provide users with even more advanced tools for their workspaces. Here’s what we know so far about these upcoming displays.
As compared to 2022 Studio Display’s, we might not see a major change, but reports claim that the upcoming displays could feature increased contrast, black levels, and increased brightness. The size of the upcoming display might be 27-inch mini-LED as compared to the current version that uses a 5K LED panel. The tech giant is expected to bring the upcoming Studio Displays in late 2025. If reports are to be believed, Apple is expected to feature mini-LEDs from Epistar and panels from LG Display in its upcoming Studio Displays.
As per reports, Apple might improve the built-in camera with this rumored Studio Display sequel. To recall, the earlier versions of the displays were slightly underwhelming in terms of camera quality and hence the company has to issue the firmware update. May be this time it doesn’t happen and the upcoming Studio Displays delivers better camera features.
