After launching the iPhone 17 series in September this year, Apple seems to be working on new technological innovations in its iPhone cases. Reportedly, the upcoming iPhone case is expected to go beyond mere protection and will turn them into secondary touch interfaces for future devices. As per Chinese leaker Instant Digital, the tech giant might be designing new iPhone cases for its Pro models that could integrate touch-sensitive layers in it. As soon as the zones are attached, the iPhone will be able to detect the case and reroute button behaviors, allowing taps, presses, and sliding gestures, activating system functions.
