Apple is one such company that has always been a pioneer when it comes to innovation. Starting from iPhones to Apple Watch, AirPods, and more, each and every product redefines how technological innovations can fit into our daily lives. Now, the tech giant has teamed up with Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE to launch an innovative iPhone Pocket. It is not just any other Apple accessory; it is a wearable design statement by the company with a unique approach.
The Cupertino tech giant has teamed up with Japanese fashion company ISSEY MIYAKE to bring something truly unexpected, and that is an iPhone Pocket. It is a phone cover that turns your iPhone into a stylish fashion accessory. The iPhone Pocket is set to launch on November 14, 2025, and it comes under a limited-edition accessory.
Apple defines its iPhone Pocket as a ‘piece of cloth’ philosophy with ISSEY MIYAKE signature style statement.
Apple’s new iPhone Pocket is crafted using a 3D knitted design, which allows it to be flexible to hold any iPhone model. Not only this, you can also hold small everyday essential items like keys or cards.
It comes with a ribbed open texture that is equipped with the ISSEY MIYAKE iconic pleats. The product provides both structure and stretch in terms of comfort. Apple describes further that as soon as you pull the fabric, there will be a subtle reveal about what’s inside.
Additionally, you can tie this iPhone Pocket to any handbag and can also hold it in your hand. Another striking feature of this pocket is that it can work like a crossbody mini-bag. This product is developed in Japan by a highly skilled research team of ISSEY MIYAKE. Apple’s own Design Studio also collaborated in the process of creating this iPhone Pocket.
Apple, along with ISSEY MIYAKE, has launched two versions of the iPhone Pocket:
The short-strap iPhone Pocket is priced at $149.95 in the U.S; however, the long-strap version is available at $229.95. It will be available at select Apple Stores and on apple.com across major markets, including the U.S., UK, Japan, France, and South Korea. It is not available in India.
