After several complaints from iPhone 17 users about Apple Intelligence not working on the latest devices, Apple has finally resolved a bug affecting its smartphones. The tech giant quietly fixed the issue that users reported as soon as the devices went on sale. To recall, users reported that Apple’s AI tools stopped working after a few days in all the models of the iPhone 17 lineup, including iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

What Went Wrong with Apple Intelligence in iPhone 17

iPhone 17 users started complaining a few weeks back about how Apple Intelligence is not working on their devices, and AI features are becoming inaccessible. The big issue first appeared when users started noticing that features like predictive suggestions, contextual recommendations, and enhanced Siri interactions suddenly stopped working on their iPhone 17 devices.

Users shared their concerns on the Apple Intelligence community forum page. Their complaints highlighted that initially, all the AI features were working, but they disappeared gradually without explanation. The issue frustrated early adopters who were expecting a seamless experience on their new devices.

While Apple never publicly commented on the issue at the time, it seems the tech giant has finally fixed and resolved the bug, restoring access to Apple Intelligence features for affected users.

Apple Rolled Out the Fix for Apple Intelligence

As per the report, Apple finally implemented a server fix that automatically applies to all iPhone 17 devices. This also includes iPhone 15 Pro models. You can open the settings app on your device and select the Apple Intelligence menu to check whether or not it is working for you.

It means if your device was affected, then you don’t need to manually update your iPhone because the solution is applied remotely through Apple’s servers.

Other Issues

While Apple resolved the Apple Intelligence features, there are some other issues with iOS 26 that have continued to face criticism. These issues include battery drain, performance issues, and more. Additionally, users are also complaining about visual anomalies in photos on their iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air devices. Apple has acknowledged that fix all these issues soon.

Other issues include connectivity problems, Bluetooth disconnections, visual design complaints with the Liquid Glass interface, and more.
