The second-generation Vision Pro headset would mostly improve on the ergonomics and comfort of the current model, with minor changes to the design. It could ultilise the new M5 chip to give the best, top of the notch performance. Along with top-tier performance, it could also feature software optimizations and additional software-related capabilities.
Apple could also introduce their new game controller with the next-gen Vision Pro which could make the Vision Pro a more attractive package for the gamers. If true, this could also mean that Apple might be working with some game developers to bring titles that could be optimised for the new Vision Pro.
In the broader spectrum, Apple is ultimately aiming to create practical and comfortable AR glasses that can seamlessly integrate into everyday life. While companies like Meta and Xreal have already released products like the Meta AI glasses and Xreal One Pro AR glasses and are helping shape the trend, Apple appears to be taking a more cautious approach and waiting for the technology to evolve enough so that it can truly fit into the daily lives of consumers.
