After teasing it for months, UK-based tech company Nothing has officially confirmed that it’s opening its first offline retail store in India. The announcement came via Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder and India head, following his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Economic Times WLF 2025. This comes a few days after Apple’s two new retail stores in India, which are expanding in the country. While the exact location and launch date of the Nothing store haven’t been revealed yet, it’s expected to offer a premium, flagship-like experience, something similar to Apple’s store format. If that’s the case, we can expect a store that doesn’t just sell products, but also lets you experience the brand in an immersive way. India is already a key market for Nothing. The company not only manufactures products like the Phone 3 locally, but also exports them globally from here. The decision to launch a physical store adds another layer to its growing presence in the country. Also Read: 8 Best Value-For-Money Smartphones Under Rs 30,000 You Should Check Out
The store will likely showcase the full range of Nothing devices – from smartphones to earbuds – and let you interact with products before buying. This is a plus point for tech enthusiasts who like to get hands-on experience before buying. While the location is unknown, but considering that Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, or Bengaluru are the major metro cities in India, and Apple has also opened its store in these cities, chances are the Nothing store will land in one of these cities.
Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, which focuses on budget-friendly tech (like the CMF Phone 2 priced at Rs 18,999), is also expanding its footprint in India. The brand has already based its marketing ops here. Now, Nothing plans to make India the global headquarters for CMF, tapping into local talent and market momentum.
While we wait for the store’s official opening date, Nothing fans in India can expect more action soon. The brand has been actively teasing new launches, and with local manufacturing, exports, and now retail presence, it’s clear India is at the centre of Nothing’s big plans.
Evangelidis confirmed this, saying the company is working to strengthen its leadership team in India and anchor operations more deeply in the region.
