Vivo is expected to expand its V-series of smartphones in India soon with the launch of the Vivo V60. A reliable tipster suggests that the device could make its debut in the country next month. The Vivo V60 will succeed the Vivo V50 with ZEISS optics, which debuted in India earlier this year. The V60 is tipped to launch alongside OriginOS that was previously exclusive to China. The Vivo V60 is expected to pack specifications similar to the Vivo S30, which debuted in China in May at a starting price of CNY 2,699 (around Rs 32,000). The V60 could, however, offer a ZEISS-tuned camera setup as we saw on its predecessor Vivo V50 in India.
The Vivo V60 could sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 screen ratio. Under the hood, the phone is expected to pack a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.
For photography, the Vivo V60 could feature a 50MP Sony primary sensor with ZEISS optics. It is expected to be accompanied by a 50MP Sony telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.
The Vivo V60 could pack a 6,500mAh battery. The phone was recently spotted on SIRIM and TUV websites with the model number V2511. The TUV listing suggests that the phone will support 90W fast wired charging.
