Tecno POP 7 Pro confirmed to launch in India next week: All you need to know

Tecno has officially announced the release of its next smartphone in India. The Tecno POP 7 Pro will the brand’s entry-level phone with an alluring design and a big battery.

It is worth noting that the Tecno POP 7 Pro was previously launched in markers like Nigeria. We expect the Indian model to be the same as the global model. Let’s take a look at all the details.

As for its pricing, the device is expected to arrive under the Rs 10,000 price segment, given its specs.

The device is expected to launch in three color options in the country – Black, Blue, and Purple.

Tecno POP 7 Pro specifications

As aforementioned, the POP 7 Pro was launched in the global markets earlier. Having said that, most of its details are known. We expect the Indian version to have the same specs as the global version of the phone.

The POP 7 Pro has an attractive design with distinguishing patterns on the back. It sports a 6.6-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It is an LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

It features a dual camera setup on the rear and a single camera on the front. The rear setup goes by a 13MP main lens and a QVGA sensor. There’s a 5MP selfie snapper on the front. The device is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps from the rear camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

It is a 4G phone with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. The device boots on Android 12-based HiOS 12.
