Samsung’s long-rumored Galaxy Z TriFold is all set to make waves with its novel design and premium features. The device is expected to be unveiled soon with power-packed features and enhancements. The excitement around the device is increasing day by day, hinting at the smartphone’s launch details, key specifications, and more. While Samsung has not announced anything officially, we can still keep our heads high for this futuristic foldable device.
To recall, Samsung first showcased its Tri-Fold concept during its Galaxy Unpacked in January 2025, and since then, reports about the device’s key information have been coming to the forefront, hinting at what this premium device could offer.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to come with a new design, including two hinges and three displays. This will be the first time a device with three displays will be launched. With this new enhancement, the Galaxy Z TriFold will transform into a tablet-sized device. As per reports, the outer screen might feature 6.5 screen; however, the inner display will feature a 10-inch screen size.
The Galaxy Z TriFold seems to be coming with a complex design; nevertheless, the tech giant managed to keep the TriFold impressively sleek, which is only 4.2mm thick when folded and 14mm when unfolded.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The company might launch it with Android 16-based One UI 8 and is expected to promise seven years of OS and One UI updates.
One of the most-talked-about features, other than its design, is the battery capacity with a 5,600mAh battery, which is a significant jump from 4,400mAh in the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
As per the latest reports coming from Chosun Daily, Samsung is planning to officially unveil its Galaxy Z TriFold on December 5, 2025. It will be priced at KRW 4.4 million (roughly $3,000) and initially set to launch in China and South Korea, then making its debut in global markets.
