Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Teased as a ‘thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet’

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been creating quite a buzz in recent weeks, with many eagerly waiting to see what this premium smartphone will offer. The company teased the first image of its upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. While there’s nothing officially coming to the forefront, but it is expected to bring exciting new features and improvements as compared to its predecessor and to the foldable smartphone market.

With Samsung’s reputation for innovation, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to be a notable addition to the company’s lineup.

The company shared a new teaser, revealing the slightest design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The tech giant teased the smartphone via its official blog post with a caption stating ‘Galaxy Z series is the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet.’ The short video teaser reveals that the design of the upcoming phone and it looks like a book style foldable.

Additionally, the teaser also showcases the how thick the phone might be. Nevertheless, Samsung didn’t reveal any official thickness of the phone, but it still states it to be the thinnest foldable ever.

To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 measures 6.04 x 2.68 x 0.48 inches when you close it and 6.04 x 5.22 x 0.22 inches when you open it. If Samsung claims its upcoming foldable to be the thinnest ever, then we can assume Galaxy Z Fold 7 to be much thinner than its predecessor.

Earlier leaks suggested when you unfold the device it will be 4.5mm in thickness and when folded it will be 9.5mm, making it 1.1mm slimmer than its predecessor. But this doesn’t make it the thinnest foldable in its segment as there are already OPPO Find N5 and HONOR Magic V3 in the market with 4.2mm and 4.4mm thickness respectively.
