Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Leaks Reveal Biggest Change: Could be the Thinnest Foldable Yet

Samsung is all set to unveil its next flagship foldable smartphones dubbed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 7 series. However, ahead of the official launch, there are several leaks and rumors coming to the forefront revealing smartphone design, display, and camera details. A popular tipster named OnLeaks recently posted the first renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, giving us a fair idea about the major changes in the smartphones.

Here’s What We Can Expect from the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7:

Apparently, there are two major changes that we can expect in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it showcases that the phone will be thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Reportedly, when you unfold the device it will be 4.5mm in thickness and when folded it will be 9.5mm, making it 1.1mm slimmer than its predecessor. But this doesn’t make it the thinnest foldable in its segment as there are already OPPO Find N5 and HONOR Magic V3 in the market with 4.2mm and 4.4mm thickness respectively.

Notably, there’s a slightly increase in the display of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it is expected to feature a 8.2-inch inner display, and a 6.5-inch outer display. Reports also reveal the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 which is about 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm. As per reports, Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset that is also powering the recently launched Galaxy S25 series. To power the phone, the company could equipped with the 4400mAh battery capacity just like its predecessors.

Talking about the camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to pack 200MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP telephoto camera. The 200MP primary camera is a notable upgrade from its predecessor which comes with 50MP primary camera. For selfies, the brand could bring Galaxy Z Fold 7 with 10MP front camera on the outer display. The inner display however will be equipped with 4MP under-display camera.
