Samsung officially unveiled its Galaxy S25 series this January with power-packed features, Now the spotlight seems to be shifting on the next flagship device dubbed Galaxy S26 Ultra. While it is still months away from an official reveal, but early leaks and rumors suggests its features and specifications. These rumored features are giving us a sneak peak and glimpse into what Samsung might have in store for its next-generation premium device. The latest leak hints at a major change in the phone’s battery capacity.
It seems the company might disappoint in terms of battery capacity in Galaxy S26 Ultra. To recall, the Galaxy S25 Ultra packs 5000mAh battery capacity, offering power-packed performance. However, as per latest leaks, the battery of Galaxy S26 ultra might be under 5400mAh battery, a real disappointment.
Talking about the battery tech, Samsung is yet to equip its premium smartphones with high-density silicon-carbon battery that its competitors are offering that too with 6,000mAh+ batteries. Not just batteries, these smartphones from Samsung’s competitors are also powered by the latest chipset.
Earlier reports suggested that Samsung might use silicon-carbon battery tech in its upcoming Galaxy S26 ultra, but things seems to be off guard if the company is bringing the smartphone under 5000mAh battery capacity.
Talking about other specifications, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display along with 3000 nits peak brightness. There could be under-display selfie camera and could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset 2, based o 3nm technology.
As far as optics are concerned, the tech giant is expected to bring its Galaxy S26 Ultra with quad camera setup including 10MP 3x zoom, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP 5x zoom, and 200MP primary camera. For selfies, it could pack 12MP front camera.
