Samsung Galaxy S26 series is making rounds on the internet for all the right reasons. The lineup may include Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, Galaxy S26 Pro, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, there’s no official information about their specifications, launch date, or any other details. But we already know that the Galaxy S series has long been a benchmark in the premium smartphone market. The S series is embedded with powerful performance, an advanced camera system, and cutting-edge displays, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 series appears to be no exception

There are early reports coming to the forefront revealing some of the details about the device’s key specifications, including battery, charging capabilities, camera, display, processor, and more.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Lineup Might Come with Battery Upgrade

As per report by 9to5Google, Samsung is expected to launch all three models including Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra with larger batteries as compared to the last year’s Galaxy S25 lineup.

  • Galaxy S26 Pro – Could feature a 4,300mAh battery, up from 4,000mAh in the Galaxy S25.
  • Galaxy S26 Edge – May get a 4,200mAh battery, which is 300mAh more than its predecessor.
  • Galaxy S26 Ultra – Expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery, marking a 500mAh increase over the S25 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may ditch the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor in favour of a Sony sensor.

Not only this, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to feature 65W wired fast charging. If this happens, then it would be the fastest charging speed offered on a Samsung premium and flagship device so far.

As per reports, the tech giant is expected to only introduce Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, with no trace of a base or Plus model.

This aligns with speculation that Samsung might retire the Plus variant and replace it with a slimmer Edge model. The Pro designation for the base variant is also a new move, and it’s unclear whether Samsung will keep this naming when the devices are officially launched.

As per GSMA database, there could be possibility of a rebranded lineup. Earlier, Galaxy S26 was spotted with a model number SM-S942U, but later it was renamed to the Galaxy S26 Pro. Listings also include the S26 Edge and S26 Ultra, but not a Plus version.
