Samsung seems to be working on its next premium Galaxy S series, dubbed Galaxy S26. The leaks and renders for the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are reportedly bringing subtle but noticeable key specifications and features. As per the report, there could be some little, however essential changes that users could notice in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup. Recent CAD renders shared by tipster OnLeaks give us a fair idea of what Samsung could bring in its next flagship series.
One of the most talked-about changes in the upcoming Galaxy S26 series is the rear camera layout. It is expected that both the standard as well as Plus variants might feature a triple camera setup that will be housed in a slightly raised camera island. This camera design is similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy S25 Edge.
While the sensors’ placement might resemble the older S25 Edge, the camera bump is designed to enhance the visual appeal and overall ergonomics of the device.
As per leaks and rumors, the standard Galaxy S26 is expected to measure around 149.5 x 71.6 x 7.24mm. This means it will be slightly taller and wider as compared to its predecessor. However, the thickness may extend to 10.44mm due to the camera bump.
Talking about the Galaxy S26+, the smartphone could measure 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.35mm, slightly thinner than the Galaxy S25+ model. Both smartphones are expected to feature flat front displays along with a centered hole-punch for the selfie camera.
The CAD renders further mention of the additional functional changes, and hence, the Galaxy S26 series might include the internal magnets. This addition might come keeping in mind of improving the accessory compatibility or magnetic attachments. Additionally, the physical buttons like power and volume will remain on the right side of the smartphone.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the launch timeline for its next Galaxy S26 series. But Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are expected to be unveiled in January 2026 with refined design changes and a modern approach.
