First renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have been unveiled, offering a glimpse into Samsung’s next flagship device. Set to be a significant player in the high-end smartphone market, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s design reveals notable similarities to Apple’s iPhone, sparking a mix of intrigue and debate among enthusiasts and critics alike.

leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, who goes by @OnLeaks on X, has shared a Galaxy S25 Ultra render. The renders showcase all the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra angles with the latest design changes. The immediate change to notice in the renders is it’s design, which is slightly rounded corners from pointed edges on the S24 Ultra.

Design:

As we remember, the S24 Ultra boasts a sleek, ultra-slim profile with slightly curved edges that blend into the device’s frame, providing a comfortable grip. But it might be possible that Samsung is planning to give Galaxy S25 Ultra quite a different design or more like an iPhonish design. The S25 Ultra appears to be entire flat in the renders.

Another notable change is Samsung’s gradual shift from its previous rear camera lens design to an all-black sensor aesthetic. This new approach mirrors the design seen on the latest Samsung foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Camera:

As far as cameras are concerned, the tech giant might bring Galaxy S25 Ultra with  50-megapixel ISOCELL JN3 sensor for the ultrawide, a 200-megapixel H2 primary camera, and a 10-megapixel IMX754 sensor for the 3x telephoto camera. It might packs the 5000mAh battery and have up to 45W charging.

Weight:

Android Headlines, which shared @OnLeaks’ renders, reports that the new phone is expected to weigh 219 grams. If that is the case, then the upcoming smartphonw will be lighter than its predecessor. The reduction in weight is attributed to a more compact design, with rumored dimensions of 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm. Despite these smaller measurements, the phone is anticipated to retain the same 6.8-inch display as its predecessor.

While the resemblance to the iPhone’s design language is apparent, Samsung will make sure that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain its distinctive features and innovations, including its renowned S Pen functionality and powerful performance capabilities. The inclusion of these elements suggests that while Samsung may be drawing inspiration from Apple’s design, it remains committed to offering a unique user experience.

As the official launch date approaches, these early renders are generating significant buzz, setting the stage for a highly anticipated release that will undoubtedly attract attention from tech enthusiasts and industry analysts alike.
