Samsung has unveiled its lates budget phone while expanding the M-series in India. Samsung Galaxy M36 5G has been launched in India in the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment. The latest Galaxy M36 brings some crucial upgrades over the predecessor in terms of display and features.

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Specifications and Features

The Galaxy M36 5G features a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset and packs a 5000mAh battery along with a 25W charging support. This is a big let down as the previous model came with a 6000mAh battery. For photography, it features a triple camera setup at the back headlined by a 50MP main with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro cameras. For selfies and video calls, it gets a 13MP front camera. These cameras also support 4k video recording. What’s important is the addition of AI features in the budget segment phone as the Galaxy M36 gets Google’s Circle To Search feature which lets you quickly search from the image or anything on your display while simply encircling it. Interestingly, it offers 6 years of Android and 6 years of security updates despite being a budget option.

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G begins at Rs 16,499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option as an introductory offer which includes card offers. While the other variants of 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB costs Rs 17,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively after the offers. You can buy it online from Amazon, online Samsung Store, and select retail stores starting July 12th, as when the first sale will begin. It is available in three colour options — Orange Haze, Serene Green, and Velvet Black.
