
Samsung has announced the launch of its next smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will launch this month in the mid-range segment. The smartphone will have a high refresh rate display and a Snapdragon processor. Ahead of its launch, the launch date and the price range of the smartphone have been revealed.
The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G will launch on May 17 in India. The device will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Samsung has also revealed the price range of the device in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The device is confirmed to start under Rs 30,000. We expect the smartphone to arrive in 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and 8GB RAM + 256GB variant. There could also be a top variant with 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage.
Samsung has also revealed the design of the smartphone. The Galaxy F55 5G will arrive with a vegan leather back finish. It will launch in two colour options Orange and Black. The device will also have gold accents on the sides and the camera rings.
The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. The punch-hole panel will have a 120hz refresh rate. The Super AMOLED Plus screen is also expected to have some sort of protection for durability. It is confirmed to boast a triple-rear camera system on the back. It will likely have a 50MP main lens, an ultrawide lens, and a macro sensor. The device should be able to record 4K videos. Upfront, it may have a 50MP camera for selfies.
Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will likely pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It will run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 OS.
