Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy F15 5G in two RAM and storage configurations – 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. Now, after more than a month of its launch, the company has launched another variant of the device. The Galaxy F15 5G in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is priced at Rs 15,999, which is Rs 1,500 higher than the current price of the 6GB variant. However, buyers can purchase the phone with a Rs 1,000 discount using their HDFC Bank credit and debit cards. Buyers who do not opt for the bank card offer can get an exchange discount of Rs 1,000. The new variant of the device is now up for purchase on Flipkart. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The panel has a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and 800 nits of peak brightness. It has a single camera on the rear for clicking selfies and doing video calls.
There’s a triple camera system on the back with a 50MP main lens. Accompanying it is a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s also an LED flash unit next to the camera sensors. The rear camera of the phone can record 1080p videos.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek chipset. It has the Dimensity 6100+ octa-core processor paired with Mali G57 GPU. It has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a massive 6,000mAh battery to offer an all-day battery life.
Samsung has also offered support for 25W fast charging. However, the charging adapter won’t be shipped with the phone. That said, buyers will have to purchase one separately. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headphones.
The dual-SIM 5G phone has wireless connectivity features like dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS support for navigation. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. It runs on the latest Android 14 OS with One UI 6.1 on top.
