Samsung Galaxy A26 support pages are live now in the global markets. Until now, the official launch has not been announced by Samsung but still the same is almost confirmed. Primarily, the support pages are available in Latin America, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. The device will carry model number SM-A26B/DS. The device will be launched in the Indian market at the same time period. That’s not it, as Samsung is also planning to launch two other Galaxy A series devices pretty soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1280 or the Exynos 2400e processor paired with high-capacity RAM and an ample amount of storage. Some of the rumors suggested that the phone will have an 8GB RAM variant along with 256GB internal storage. The smartphone will operate on the One UI 7 based on the Android 15 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 will be powered by a 4565mAh battery that will be marketed as a 5000mAh one. Apart from that, the FCC listing of the phone has also confirmed that it will ship with 25W fast charging support. As of now, there is no word on the pricing of the smartphone. Expectations are that it will be priced similarly to its predecessor which was launched in the Indian market under Rs 30,000.
All in all, we can say that the handset is going to be a powerful and affordable offering. Though, the inclusion of the Exynos chipset has created a few doubts as if it will be able to compete with the devices shipping on Snapdragon processors in the same price range. It will be interesting to see what Samsung does in the camera department as well.
