Samsung Galaxy A17 5G Unveiled Globally: Stylish Design, Affordable Price, But India Launch Still Pending

Samsung has officially unveiled its latest addition to the A series lineup, dubbed Galaxy A17, at an affordable price tag. The lineup includes two models, including Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A17 5G variant. The series aims to deliver a premium smartphone experience at much affordable price point.

While the phones have been introduced globally, they are yet to make their debut in the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A17 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A17 series features a 6.7” Super AMOLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate, which allows users to perfectly scroll, stream, and indulge in gaming sessions. The device has a linear camera design and delivers a sleek and modern look.

For optics, the Galaxy A17 series packs a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP main sensor along with Optical Image Stabilisation, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it comes with a 13MP front camera.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A17 series is powered by the Exynos 1330 and comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity with 25W fast charging. This ensures that it delivers smooth HD streaming, responsive gaming, and seamless social sharing.

The storage options in the Galaxy A17 series start with 128GB with 4GB RAM, with support for up to 2TB of expandable storage via microSD card, giving users plenty of space for apps, photos, and media.

The new Galaxy A17 5G is priced starting at £199. The Galaxy A17 will be available in Light Blue, Grey, and Black. However, the Galaxy A17 5G will be available in Black, Blue, and Grey.
