Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition To Launch Today In Collaboration With Lamborghini

Xiaomi is all set to launch its new flagships under the Redmi branding today. The Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max will be unveiled in China at 7 pm local time (4:30 PM IST, October 23). Ahead of the launch, the brand has revealed a special edition for the Pro Max model. The device will launch as Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition, made in collaboration with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the Italian luxury sports car maker’s motorsport department. Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition Design

The company took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to announce the launch of the Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition. The device will feature a distinct back design, with a stylised camera module. According to the image, the special edition phone will sport a white textured rear panel with vertical lines running through the middle of the device. The Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition will get a distinct camera island compared to the standard model. The module could be seen in a black-coloured pentagonal shape, housing the camera rings.

The rectangular camera module on the standard Pro Max features a triple camera setup and a Sound by Bose branding, which has been replaced with the Redmi branding on the special edition. It remains to be seen if the Champion Edition will feature the similar set of hardware as the standard Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Redmi K90 Pro Max Specifications (Expected)

The screen on the standard Pro Max model is a 6.9-inch OLED with a full RGB sub-pixel layout, supporting DC dimming. The phone is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

For photography, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature a main camera with a 1/1.31-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and an OIS-enabled periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 10x lossless zoom.

The device will house a 7,560mAh battery that supports 100W fast wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The K90 Pro Max will be equipped with a Bose-tuned 2.1 stereo system, which includes two super-linear speakers and an extra-large independent woofer.
