Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand could soon launch its next budget smartphone, the Redmi 15C, in select global markets. Ahead of an official announcement, leaked renders have revealed the phone’s design and colour options. Alongside the Redmi 15C, the Poco C85 has also appeared on certification sites, indicating that both models may launch together with similar hardware and features. According to a NieuweMobiel report (via Gadgets360), the Redmi 15C will be offered in at least four colours – Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue, Twilight Orange, and a green variant. The design appears significantly different from its predecessor, the Redmi 14C. Instead of a circular camera module, the Redmi 15C is shown with a square camera island with rounded edges, placed in the top left corner on the back panel. This module houses two vertically stacked cameras, along with an LED flash inside a separate small circular cutout. The Redmi logo is seen on the bottom-left side of the rear cover. At the front, the device is likely to come with a flat screen and ultra-thin bezels, a marginally thicker chin, and a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. The volume keys and power button are on the right, and the SIM tray is on the left side. Also Read: Xiaomi 17 Ultra In The Works? Camera Leak Reveals Quad Setup With 200MP Primary Sensor
The Redmi 15C, carrying model number 25078RA3EA, has reportedly been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification site. Alongside it, the Poco C85 (model number 25078PC3EG) was also listed, suggesting both phones may share specifications. Earlier, both models appeared on EEC (Europe) and IMDA (Singapore) certification databases, indicating a global rollout is on the way.
Both smartphones are LTE-enabled, meaning 5G support is unlikely. An earlier FCC listing hints the Redmi 15C could feature a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD, 6,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. It’s also expected to ship with HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, out of the box.
While no official launch date is confirmed, the model numbers suggest a possible July debut, though it could come later in the year.
