The wait is finally over for the Realme GT 8 Pro as this flagship device from Realme is officially making its entry into the Indian market today. To recall, the Realme GT 8 Pro was launched in China in October, and now the device is all set to take on the Indian flagship segment with powerful features, enhancements, bold design, and AI capabilities. The tech giant has been teasing the device, suggesting its strong focus on performance and display technology.

Realme GT 8 Pro India Launch: How to Watch Livestream

The Realme GT 8 Pro is launching today in India via the company’s livestream on its official YouTube channel. The device will go on sale through e-commerce site Flipkart and Realme’s online store. The smartphone will be launched in two color options, including Diary White and Urban Blue, different from what the company launched in China, including a Green variant.

The company has not revealed the official pricing for its premium Realme GT 8 Pro, but Chinese prices hint that the handset may fall within the Rs 60,000 to Rs 70,000 range.

The base model of 12GB RAM and 256GB of Realme GT 8 Pro is priced at CNY 3,999 in China (roughly Rs 50,000). Nevertheless, the high storage variant of 16GB RAM and 1TB model is available at CNY 5,199 (roughly Rs 64,000). If the tech giant follows a similar structure than Indian buyers can get the device in the same price range.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The company is also adding a Hyper Vision + AI chip to enhance the performance and camera processing. It will run on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0

For optics, the device is expected to pack a Ricoh GR-tuned triple rear camera setup with a 200-megapixel telephoto lens supporting up to 120x SuperZoom. Realme is adding a swappable camera module in the Realme GT 8 Pro to push the phone’s boundaries.

The display of the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a stunning 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 7,000 nits. Other than this, there will be a 7,000 sq mm VC cooling system to keep everything cool along with a massive 7,000mAh Titan Battery with 120W Ultra Charge support. It can deliver all-day usage in just 15 minutes of charging.

The phone also comes with an IP69 rating, offering high-grade dust and water resistance.
