Google is all set to debut its highly anticipated Pixel 10 series on August 20 with power-packed features. However, ahead of its official launch, the Pixel 10 series, including Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, has taken center stage in the rumor mill. Reliable tipster Evan Blass has dropped near-official renders of the upcoming devices that showcase shapes, design, colors, and interesting hardware changes in the upcoming Pixel 10 lineup.
As per Evan Blass, Google seems to be bringing back the bold and vibrant finishes for the standard Pixel 10. Nevertheless, the tech giant keeps the signature Obsidian black option for buyers who prefer a classic look over a vibrant one.
Talking about the Pixel 10 Pro, the device is set to arrive in the same lively palette, and the high-end variant, Pixel 10 Pro XL, will come up with the identical color options plus a fresh green variant. These color options indicate that Google wants the Pixel 10 to stand disparate in terms of design, style, and specs.

Perhaps one of the most surprising details that’s coming from the leaks and rumors is Google’s plan to remove the physical SIM tray from the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL. This will be applicable in certain markets, and hence, opting instead for eSIM-only.
According to Blass, this move may initially be limited to the US, mirroring Apple’s strategy with recent iPhones. In contrast, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will reportedly keep both eSIM and physical SIM support.
As per some other reports, Google is likely to maintain the physical SIM compatibility for Pixel 10 models in countries like India, Europe, and others. The tech giant will also showcase some other products in the August launch, including updates on Android 16 and new Gemini AI features tailored for the Pixel lineup.
