Oppo F31 Series To Pack 7,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3: Specs Revealed Ahead Of India Launch

Oppo recently announced the F31 series launch date in India. The lineup is expected to include three smartphones – the Oppo F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the key specifications of the F31 series. However, it seems that the Pro series will pack most of the said hardware. Here’s what we know so far. 

Oppo F31 Series Specifications, Features 

The Oppo F31 series’ dedicated microsite on the company website reveals that one of the phones will run on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Oppo claims that the device scored over 890,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform. The Oppo F31 Pro series is said to have scored between 20,000 to 30,000 points at 40-degree Celsius in smoothness rating. 

The F31 series is confirmed to pack a 7,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging. Under the hood, the phones will pack a 5,219mm² SuperCool VC System. The Oppo F31 Pro series is advertised to feature a damage-proof 360-degree armour body and come with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. 

Moreover, leaks and rumours suggest that the Oppo F31 series will feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor. On the front, the devices are expected to house a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats. 

Oppo F31 Series Launch Date 

Oppo will launch the F31 series smartphones in India on September 15 at 12 p.m. IST. The new lineup is expected to succeed the Oppo F29 series in India.  

Oppo F31 Series Price in India (Leaked) 

According to a recent leak, the Oppo F31 5G could launch at under Rs 20,000. The F31 Pro 5G could be priced under Rs 30,000, while the F31 Pro+ 5G could cost under Rs 35,000. The standard model is expected to come in blue, green, and red colour variants.
