OnePlus Nord 5 Camera Specs Officially Confirmed Ahead Launch: What To Expect

Ahead of its official launch on July 8, OnePlus has finally unveiled the camera specs of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5. As per the shared teaser on the OnePlus Nord 5’s microsite, the phone is confirmed to feature a dual rear camera system, headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for steadier photos and videos. The teaser also revealed that the selfie camera of the Nord 5 is also getting a serious upgrade with a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor with autofocus for selfies. The front as well as the back camera of the Nord 5 are confirmed to support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. OnePlus Nord 5: What Else To Expect

Apart from cameras, the OnePlus Nord 5 is confirmed to pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. For those into mobile gaming, the device boasts a 7,300 sq mm VC cooling chamber, which should help keep the phone cool under heavy use. OnePlus claims it can deliver up to 144 fps gaming performance.

Moreover, it may feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may come with a 5,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. Other expected features include IP65-rated dust and water resistance and up to 512GB of storage. Based on the leaks and rumours, the colour options may include Dry Ice, Marble Sands, and Phantom Grey.

Based on the leaks, the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be priced under Rs 35,000 in India.
