OnePlus has finally confirmed the official launch of its premium smartphone OnePlus 15, revealing the color options. After weeks of speculation and teasers, which were limited to the Chinese market, the tech giant has officially confirmed that its upcoming OnePlus 15 will launch globally. The brand has also revealed a striking new color option for the upcoming flagship smartphone with a unique design and durability.

Here’s What OnePlus 15 Could Offer

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset

Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 is expected to be powered by the new chipset, dubbed Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is considered the most advanced processor to date. The device will be coupled with the brand’s upgraded cooling system, expected to deliver unmatched and high-end performance. This means the upcoming smartphone could bring out multitasking, gaming, or intensive apps with easy handling. The device also boasts a 165Hz refresh rate display, ensuring fluid visuals and a superior user experience.

OnePlus 15 to Arrive in Sand Storm Color

One of the major highlights that the company confirms is about its color options. The tech giant recently showcased the OnePlus 15 in a new color option called Sand Storm finish, which comes with an advanced micro-arc oxidation treatment. It fuses a ceramic coating directly onto an aluminum frame by using a high-voltage plasma process.

As per OnePlus, the treatment will deliver 3.4 times more hardness than raw aluminum, along with 1.3 times the strength of titanium. However, the back panel is made of fiberglass, giving it a smooth yet durable texture.

Benchmark Results Beat Apple’s A19 Pro

Ahead of the official release, the OnePlus 15 has already been tested for performance. A recent benchmark uploaded by YouTuber Geekerwan revealed benchmark scores, with a single-core score of 3836 and a multi-core score of 12,352. These benchmark results surpass Apple’s A19 and A19 Pro chipsets in the iPhone 17 series.

Global Launch Awaited

While the company has confirmed a global release, the exact pricing and availability details remain under wraps. In China, the device is expected to launch next month, but fans across the world may need to wait slightly longer to get their hands on it.
