
We have been seeing the OnePlus 13 rumors for a long time now. And the brand has confirmed that the smartphone is going to launch in October. Speculations are that the smartphone will first make a debut in the Chinese market followed by its global launch in major markets like the United States, Europe, and India. Furthermore, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis posted on Weibo that OnePlus 13 will come with the latest generation processors. This could be a major hint at the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The OnePlus 13 is confirmed to ship with a BOE X2 display. Previous leaks suggested that it will have a 6.8-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It may enter the market with an IP68 or IP69 certification for dust and water resistance. Rumors also have is that the smartphone will ship with a revamped design as compared to its predecessor. High chances are that the device will ditch the circular camera island that we got to see in its predecessor.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 13 could sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x Zoom. Apart from that, the device could have a glass back replacing the ceramic build that we saw in the previous versions.
As for the battery, the smartphone will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Expectations are that it will get fully fueled up from zero to 100% in less than 35 minutes. All other details regarding the smartphone are still under wraps. Speculations are that we will get to know more about in the coming months.
