Nothing Phone 3a Design and Camera System Revealed: Here’s What We Can Expect from the Smartphone

Nothing will launch their next smartphone dubbed Nothing Phone 3a at MWC 2025. Ahead of the official launch on 4th March, the company has started sharing some of the details about the Nothing Phone 3a. The series will include two models including Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a Pro. The design revealed by the tech giant showcases that this will be the first time when the company will be bringing a triple rear camera system on its smartphones. Interestingly, the company is expected not to launch the Plus variant this time.

One of the biggest change that the company brought in its upcoming smartphones is the shift from Mediatek to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. To recall, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei revealed earlier that the processor of both the phones will have 25 percent faster CPU performance and 72 percent quicker NPU. Nevertheless, the company has not yet confirmed the processor of Nothing Phone 3a series.

Talking about the camera, the company revealed camera specs recently which showcase the 50MP large periscope telephoto sensor along with OIS. The 50MP main camera is placed next to the telephoto sensor and the 8MP ultra-wide sensor is above that.

The phones are reported to be run on NothingOS 3.1 based on Android 15. It will also have company’s signature Glyph Interface. To power the phone, the company could equipped it with 5,000mAh battery along with 45W fast charging support.

The smartphones will have a transparent design and an additional below placed below the power button. The video teaser by the company revealed a unique way to unbox the Nothing Phone 3a. For the first time the smartphone was unboxed with a helping hand from NEO Gamma which is a humanoid robot engineered by Norwegian firm 1x.
