Motorola Razr 50 Ultra India launch: Motorola launched its next-generation foldable phone, that is, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra, in India today. This new smartphone succeeds last year’s Moto Razr 40 Ultra smartphone that costs Rs 69,999 in India. The new Moto Razr 50 Ultra comes with top-of-the-line features, which includes Google Gemini integration along with support for the company’s own Moto AI, a 50MP camera and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 to name a few.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra costs Rs 99,999 for the single variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. It will be available at an early bird price of Rs 94,999 after getting a discount of Rs 5,000. It will go on sale in India on July 20 via Amazon India. As a part of the launch offers, Motorola is offering an instant bank discount worth Rs 5,000 and a no-cost EMI starting Rs 5,000 per month. Post these discounts, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be available at a price of Rs 89,999 in India.

In addition to these discounts, the company is offering benefits worth Rs 15,000 to Reliance Jio subscribers along with three months of Google Gemini Advanced Subscription and 2TB of cloud storage space. Interested buyers can purchase the Moto Razr 50 Ultra in Peach Fuzz, Spring Green and Midnight Blue colour variants.
Coming to the specifications, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch full HD+ pOLED display on the inside with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels, a screen refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits and support for HDR10+ and 10-bit colour. On the outside, it has a 4.0-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1272 x 1080 pixels, a peak brightness of 2400 nits and a screen refresh rate of 165Hz. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on front, Vegan leather on rear and high strength aluminum chassis. It comes with IPX8 dust and water resistant coating.
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 system-on-chip that is coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.0 storage. The phone runs Android 14 mobile operating system and it is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W TurboPower charging technology, 15W wireless charging technology and 5W reverse wireless charging technology.
On the camera front, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra has a 50MP primary camera with support for Optical Image Stabalisation (OIS) technology. It also has a 50MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. On the front, it has a 32MP camera for selfies. In terms of audio, the Razr 50 Ultra has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, spatial sound and Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound. On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, USB Type-C ports, and GPS.
In terms of features, Motorola features support for Google Gemini. The company is also giving buyers access to Gemini Advanced for three months with access at no extra cost. Buyers will also get 2TB of cloud storage space and Gemini in Google apps such as Gmail and Docs in the Google One AI Premium plan. Additionally, users get access to a host of AI-based image editing tools such as Magic Editor, Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur. Buyers also get access to additional image-editing features such as Photomoji, Magic Compose, Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking, AI Photo Enhancement Engine, AI Adaptive Stabilisation and Magic Canvas with this phone.
