The smartphone is speculated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which is an old processor. It seems the company is not planning to bring Moto G96 5G with the latest and new processor- Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.

As far as camera features are concerned, the Moto G96 5G could pack the 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
