Motorola Edge 70 is preparing to be released in India, and the phone is already receiving attention for its incredibly thin design of 5.99mm. The Indian launch is slated to be in line with the premium hardware and modern characteristics that are featured in the international launch. Its potent Snapdragon chipset combined with its crisp 1.5K pOLED display, rapid charging, and high-resolution camera system is making it one of the classy and viable smartphones in the niche.
Motorola is likely to introduce the same 1.5K pOLED display measuring 6.67 inches to the Indian version. The panel will have a resolution of sharp images, HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its brightness of 4,500 nits is also very good in the outdoors, which is a feature that is sought after by buyers in India in high-quality phones.
The phone will probably be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 under the hood. It comes with an internal storage memory of 512GB and 12GB RAM globally. Should Motorola take this setup to India, this company is likely to emerge as one of the strongest slim phones within its segment.
In the case of optics it might refer to two 50MP on the back sensors, one of which is used as the main and the other as the ultra-wide. The phone also has a 50MP camera on the front. The phone has a 4,800mAh battery supported by 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The Edge 70 is also powered with AI capabilities and runs on the Android 16-based Hello UI. The phone is also certified to stay dry, dust-free and tough with IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certifications. The phone is made of metal and has Gorilla Glass 7i covering at the front. It is light and easy to carry with a weight of 159g. The sleek shape makes it look clean and contemporary and at the same time durable enough to use on a daily basis.
