iQoo Z9 Lite 5G India launch: iQoo today launched a new budget smartphone in India. This new budget smartphone is dubbed as the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G and it joins other Z-series smartphones in the company’s lineup, which include the iQoo Z9x 5G and the iQoo Z9 5G to name a few. The newly launched iQoo Z9 Lite 5G competes with the likes of the Redmi 13C, Motorola G24 Power and the Realme Narzo N53 in India.

iQoo Z9 Lite 5G India price and availability

The iQoo Z9 Lite 5G comes in two storage variants in India. While the variant with 4G of RAM and 128GB of storage space costs Rs 9,999, the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space costs Rs 10,999. The phone will go on sale in India starting 12MP on July 20 via Amazon India and iQoo India’s eshop.

As a part of the launch offer, Amazon India is offering a discount of Rs 500 on the purchases made using HDFC and ICICI Bank cards. Additionally, the company is offering Color Earphones at Rs 399 to all the buyers.

iQoo Z9 Lite 5G specifications

Coming to the specifications, the iQoo Z9 5G comes with a 6.56-inch ultra-bright display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 840 nits. It comes in two design and colour variants, which include — Aqua Flow and Mocha Brown. Additionally, it comes with IP64 dust and water-resistant coating.

The iQoo Z9 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset that is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM 128GB of storage space. Users can expand this storage space up to 1TB using a microSD card. The phone runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. iQoo has promised to provide two years of Android updates and three years of security updates to the users.

Coming to the camera, the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G sports a dual camera setup at the back. his camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and an 2MP bokeh sensor.

Talking about the battery, the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that can offer up to nine hours of gaming time and up to 23 hours of backup while watching shows and movies on the OTT platforms.
